Procus 695 is an electrode that provides smooth welding characteristics and is especially suitable for welding the dirty metals so often encountered in maintenance repair work.

The maintenance departments of many companies are often required to complete repairs in areas of poor accessibility. Often the materials to be repaired are rusty or contaminated with grease or dirt.

When these materials need to be weld repaired it is not uncommon for problems to be experienced with ordinary electrodes as the flux coating is not capable of removing the contaminants from the molten metal during the welding process. In these circumstances poor welds are not uncommon and the risk of weld failure is forever present.

The flux coating of procus 695 is formulated to remove surface contaminants from the weld zone during the welding process. Because of the special flux formula of procus 695 contaminants such as dirt and grease can permeate the molten flux so that sound weld joints, without porosity, can be achieved.

That the flux can easily remove any surface contaminants is extremely important for weld integrity and ease of application.

Procus 695 is smooth flowing and easy to use. It exhibits a rapid deposition with an excellent deposit appearance and self-removing slag. It is a universal, all position electrode producing quality weld deposits with superb bead appearance, regardless of power source, current or polarity.

Arc is quiet and produces a spray type transfer with a high degree of ionisation. It also exhibits superior wash characteristics in filleting applications and it is especially recommended as a contact electrode.
